Soaking up Prassa & Psathi Beaches on Kimolos Island, Greece (Part 6)
Following on from chilling out on Cheronissos & Vathi Beaches on Sifnos Island we headed to our fifth (so far) island of the trip - Kimolos Island.
Our first stop was Prassa/Agios Georgios Beach where we anchored off the coast and had some “playtime” in the water, ate lunch on board and generally relaxed! It was actually a little overcast as you can see in the photos below:
As you will have noticed, if you have read the previous parts of this Greece blog series, we have our own “daily routine” and after two to four hours of swimming, eating, reading etc. it is usually time to then make our way to our next stop (normally where we will stay that night) and we tend to arrive before sunset. On this day it was no different, we were headed for Psathi Beach where we would stay overnight and yes, we did arrive before sunset and it was awesome:
The arrow in the photo below is point to the turquoise boat we previously saw in Vathi:
Psathi is another small waterside settlement but it has a couple of small shops (groceries & souvenirs), a bar and a few restaurants/cafes. That evening we ate at a restaurant on the beach called The Wave. No photos as usual but no complaints and clean plates all round too. After dinner we headed back to the boat for a nightcap or three!
The following morning we woke to a blue sky and heat! We got to check out our “turquoise neighbours”:
And the view from the pier out to sea:
Next up are photos of Psathi beach:
And below the arrow is pointing to The Wave Restaurant that we ate dinner in the previous evening:
We had a really tasty breakfast sitting in the very welcomed shade at Το ραβέντι:
After breakfast and browsing in the shops we headed back to the boat where we all promptly decided we had to go for a swim immediately and so we did!
As always, the time came to leave Psathi and make our way to our sixth island of the trip - Milos Island coming in hot!
Snapped some photos along the way:
