On anchor in Livadi Marina, Serifos Island - Greece (Part 4)
Following on from night four of our trip which was spent in Merihas, Kythnos Island, on our fifth night we had made it as far as Livadi on Serifos Island.
Livadi is Serifos’ main port and has a beach “strip” lined with waterfront bars and tavernas. We were on anchor in the Livadi marina area. As usual, we arrived in time for sunset and gather on deck for a few sundowners.
Later we took our dinghy from the catamaran to the marina and had dinner on the beach in a restaurant called Lepi Lepi. I have zero photos but we were really impressed with the food here, the seafood was so fresh and perfectly cooked.
After dinner we headed back to the catamaran in the dinghy and went to bed. We had decided that we would leave earlyish in the morning as we had a few places we wanted to visit the following day. So, in the morning we had breakfast on board and waved goodbye to Livadi at 930am - a very brief visit! One additional piece of information is that Livadi, being the main port of the island of Serifos is apparently the best place to base yourself if you have more time and want to explore more of what the island has to offer such as its hidden beaches and hiking routes!
