Exploring Korissia/Coressia, Kéa Island - Greece (Part 1)

We spent two weeks on a catamaran exploring some of Greece’s beautiful islands in June 2024 (and June 2023). One of our first stops on our 2024 trip was Kéa Island where we were moored in the small port of Korissia/Coressia over night.

We arrived in the late afternoon/early evening and just caught sunset:

The waterfront area in Korissia is lined with tavernas, bars, cafes and small shops. We ate at one of the local restaurants that night, fresh seafood all the way. After dinner we went for a nightcap in Captain Louis and then headed to bed.

In the morning before breakfast I decided to walk the short distance to the Chapel of Saint George. The view was so pretty:

It was at this moment I seriously contemplated a dip - that water!!

We then had a delicious breakfast in Οικος Κεα, great coffee too!

After breakfast we picked up some supplies in the local supermarket. We also got some really great reasonably priced local/national wines in Abeli - wine & deli, definitely worth checking out if you are ever here!

Back on board we headed for our next destination, the famous sandbank beach Kolona on Kithnos/Kythnos Island.
